Abstract folds
In this research project, I am interested in the structural and luminous interest of folding. By searching for simple formal principles, I explore the ability of ordinary white paper to transform into evocative forms. I collect white papers of all kinds, looking for a rich color range, with minimal contrasts. By folding like direct carving, without prediction, I look for forms that express the material. Its flexibility, its fineness, its character. By creating volumes erected thanks to the structural fold, I consider the structure as a question of balance.
