The Structural and Luminous Fold
exploration of the fragile combination of the flexibility of paper and the rigidity of folding to generate evocative, balanced and luminous forms.
These folds are an attempt to find the closest form to a material. These forms appear to be games of perception, making us wonder how it holds together, what it's made of, is it transparent, what is behind it...
The fold allows extreme contrasts as well as delicate gradations, and the perception of the folded volume will change with the light, the angle of view and the scale at which it is viewed.
